Art Deco Clocks Did Art Deco Take Off In The UK Or Was It Largely Confined To The USA?

Did Art Deco take off in the UK or was it largely confined to the USA? - art deco clocks

I know that some parts of Europe and the United States has been heavily influenced by Art Deco, and I love the style, but I did some research and the whole architecture, fashion and style Art Deco influence other parties to live in 1920 / 30 seems all of New York.

Influence of Art Deco Britain has done? Where can I find the remains of the Art Deco in the United Kingdom?

What simple measures can be taken to decorate my house in this style?

Thank you!

  1. Answer Jeanne is a good idea. Art Deco was in Britain, and it was for all types of projects in architecture and engineering, theater - strongly influenced by the popularity of Egyptology, who toured the world affected by the discovery of the tomb of Tuankhamun - for fire services, pubs and bridges. There were also manufacturers of crockery, cutlery, and equipment that produces hundreds of Art Deco design and is still in flea and antiques fairs are picked up with ease. Oh, and watches.

If you are in Scotland, visit the restaurant Rogan Royal Exchange Square. Agathat Poirot or movies based on books by Christie's.

If you really use to your home with art deco style, check books, want to decorate chose the colors, have found a strong appeal and ARTEX able to get help against the effects of time

  2. Art Deco was abolished throughout Britain. Discover British architecture, fashion, jewelry, furniture, utensils and other aspects of life in 1920-40. I think it started in the UK. I think the V & A museum has a section.
